exploring how human experiences shape actionable insights.

I leverage my background at the intersection of visual design and product strategy in collaboration with others to understand them deeply and bridge their needs with accessible, thoughtful design.

About Me!
Before joining Northwestern’s Engineering Design Innovation program, I earned my BFA from the University of Michigan with minors in UX Design and Entrepreneurship. My studio-based background taught me to think through making, and long hours spent sketching and prototyping shaped my love for storytelling as a design tool.
I first became interested in product design during a studio course focused on early-age learning. Creating Cece the Counting Caterpillar showed me how my creative instincts could support real user needs. That experience set the foundation for later projects like ChalkBot, a chalk-drawing robot that won first place in a trade show, and Bloom Airways, a brand identity inspired by Scandinavian design principles. These projects helped me understand how form, function, and emotion work together to shape experience.
I thrive in cross-functional teams where curiosity, strategy, and empathy guide the work. Rowing taught me the value of collaboration and shared momentum, and I bring that mindset to every project. I am especially interested in interaction design, product strategy, and roles that blend research, prototyping, and storytelling.
Outside of design, I stay inspired through film, which shapes how I think about pacing and narrative, and through running, especially on scenic trails that help me reset and reflect. Both practices influence how I approach creativity with clarity and intention.
